Our all inclusive Heli Elopement Package provides a stunning and simple idea to celebrate your own unique love story. This includes your private helicopter transfer from either our Jindabyne base, or from the Canberra Airport, including a stunning scenic flight over the beautiful Snowy Mountains, and landing at a quaint and secluded alpine hut location for your intimate elopement ceremony and photo opportunity, complete with champagne for the couple to share upon the completion of their ceremony. This ultimate package includes the local Canberra-based, heart-felt celebrant Jodie Temple-Clarke, and a bouquet of choice from our local florist. Simply organise your photographer and outfit, and leave the rest to us.

BRING A LOCAL PHOTOGRAPHER

The remote alpine location of your wedding ceremony is stunning, with many photo-worthy backgrounds and spots on the property, we highly recommend taking the opportunity for photos in this bush location. Your friendly pilot will gladly assist in candid or staged photographs via iphone and/or gopro if you wish. However, if you are after professional photography or videography, we recommend bringing along a professional photographer to capture the beauty of the ceremony and location.

HAVE A BACK-UP PLAN

A simple reality of alpine flying, is that sometimes, the weather just is not suitable or safe to allow our plans to go ahead on schedule. Occasionally this means the wedding day timelines get rescheduled or modified, and other times it means moving a ceremony to another more suitable time or location. Unfortunately it’s one of those things which is completely out of our control (we wish we could change the weather!) For this reason, it is highly advisable to have a back-up plan, be that a back-up day or back-up location, which your pilot will discuss with you when creating your Elopment booking.

DRESS FOR THE CONDITIONS

Weather conditions in our mountain environment usually represents temperature and weather differences compared to the local temperature and weather in Jindabyne or Canberra. We always recommend to dress so the couple get the most enjoyment and comfort out of the day.

Most summer brides are comfortable without a jacket etc. Although in winter months, ensure you are dressed to suit the cold and sometimes snowy conditions. We certainly recommend layers of warm jackets, overcoats, gloves and scarves. Additionally, we would highly recommend for those brides wanting to wear heels, to wear a pair of sturdy flats or boots for walking on snow and uneven ground, however of course bring your heels to swap into, when in place for the ceremony and/or photographs if you wish.
